This very un-panda like animal is actually the Red Panda. I didn’t even know such a type existed and when I saw them they were so unlike the usual pandas. These looked cuter, I thought.

I read that red pandas are also found in NE India – Sikkim, Assam etc. And apparently, it is just a distant relative of the giant panda.
awww…this fellow looks like he’s wearing black socks. I think Calvin likes him too.. he just called him ambaa, that’s his nomenclature for any non-human 🙂
